The maintenance of your product

• For our products with natural down and feathers, it is important that the washing cycle is short, at a low temperature, up to a maximum of 40°C, to protect the down and the high-quality cotton cover
• Drying should be done at a low temperature on a gentle dryer setting and for a longer period of time
• Please leave at least 60% free in the dryer drum so that the product has enough space to fluff
• To avoid odor formation, your natural product must never remain damp or wet; so please dry well past the point where it feels dry from the outside
• Dry cleaning is possible for our natural products
• Washing too often can reduce the quality of the filling and cotton cover
  

• Our vegan products can be washed at a maximum of 40°C on a gentle cycle with mild detergent
• Do not use chemical cleaning, dry cleaning or bleach
• Dry in the dryer with sufficient space in the drum, otherwise the filling will clump together
• Even if the product feels dry, it is imperative that you give it enough time to really dry completely (also on the inside)

To extend the life of your silk product, you can of course always have it dry cleaned as a precaution. However, if you want to do the laundry yourself from home, please follow the care instructions below:

• Choose a mild detergent that is labeled “delicate detergent” or “suitable for silk”
• Under no circumstances should you bleach your silk product
• Soak the silk product in cold water for a maximum of five minutes
• Gently wave it back and forth in the water, especially on dirty spots
• When washing in the washing machine, please only use a gentle washing program such as the wool program and wash at a maximum of 30°
• The silk must not be wrung out or put in the tumble dryer; instead, please roll it up in a towel and then lay it down or hang it up to dry

Removal of wrinkles:
Since your silk product is of natural origin, its smooth surface can wrinkle from washing or everyday use. You can counteract this with a steam iron or by gently ironing at a low temperature, and preferably damp. A cotton cloth or parchment paper between the iron and the silk can provide additional protection.

• Our bedspreads are made of 100% pure cotton and can therefore easily be washed in the washing machine at up to 60°C.
